Abstract
Aim: The paper presents a description of the possible use of simulators for training in crisis situations. Main functions of virtual simulators in the context of their use for training were presented. Due to variations of exercises examples of computer-aided training organizations with an indication of the role of individual components were shown. At the end some practical examples using VBS2 simulator were presented.
